Our first store at Westfield Bondi Junction, opened on 21st March 2019.

We are proud to partner with LEGO – one of the world’s most recognised brands – to bring custom built retail stores to Australia and New Zealand.

Our portfolio of AG LEGO Certified Stores all aim to provide inspiring, interactive environments for brick enthusiasts, which build on the LEGO philosophy of promoting imagination and creativity.

As the licenced operator of LEGO Certified Stores across ANZ, we opened six new stores in 2019: Westfield Bondi Junction (NSW), Broadway Sydney (NSW), Westfield Chermside (QLD), Robina Town Centre (QLD), Westfield Doncaster (VIC) and New Zealand’s first LEGO Certified Store at Westfield Newmarket (Auckland, NZ).

In partnership with the LEGO Group, we opened three additional new stores in 2020: Charlestown Square (NSW), Westfield Marion (SA) and Highpoint Shopping Centre (VIC).

AG LEGO® Certified Stores are operated by Alquemie LCS Pty Ltd

We look forward to continuing to expand our retail footprint in 2021, with additional store openings to be announced in the coming months.

In March 2019, we opened Sydney’s first LEGO Certified Store!

Situated at Westfield Bondi Junction, the store provides a fun new local landmark for families and enthusiasts from around the world with a focus on inspiring creativity and innovation.

Supporting innovation is a central theme of the store and this is encouraged with many unique hands-on-interactive brick experiences. These include Build-A- Minifigure™ stations and a Pick-A-Brick signature LEGO wall featuring countless combinations of bricks to choose from.

The store covers an impressive 302sqm total area over two floors, with a variety of large LEGO models showcasing the creative potential of the LEGO brick including a Harbour Bridge mosaic and a floor-to-ceiling mosaic of Bondi Beach.

During the last few weeks of 2019, the team worked around the clock to open five more stores in Australia – across the Gold Coast, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane – a simply incredible feat!

On 31 October 2019, we made brick history with the launch of New Zealand’s first LEGO Certified Store at Westfield Newmarket in Auckland!

Queues for our 2019 store openings started as early as 4am in the morning – and stretched over 1.4km.

Together with the LEGO Group, we proudly unveiled three additional AG LEGO Certified Stores in 2020.

Charlestown Square (NSW) opened in August, with a 180sqm custom built venue for one of the country’s most loyal and engaged communities of brick enthusiasts.

The store features many unique hands-on, interactive brick experiences including a 3D model of a local fisherman comprised of 34,035 bricks and taking over 300 hours to build!

In early December, we brought one of the world’s favourite retail concepts to the western suburbs of Victoria with the opening of our eighth AG LEGO Certified Store at Highpoint Shopping Centre.

Located on Level 3, the 195sqm store incorporates LEGO features which are a tribute to imagination and creativity - including ‘Kristina’ - a model of a Victorian cricketer comprised of 43,741 individual bricks!

Next stop was the opening of the ninth store in our portfolio – and South Australia’s first LEGO Certified Store. We loved meeting our South Australian brick fans!

Located at Westfield Marion (Adelaide) in prime positioning on Level 2, the 197sqm store is a signature multi-sensory LEGO retail experience. The design of the new store draws inspiration from local icons and landmarks, including a large mosaic of Glenelg Pier and an oversize 3D South Australian cyclist - both comprising of almost 75,000 individual LEGO bricks!

We have ambitious plans for the continued expansion of our retail footprint in 2021 and look forward to sharing details of new locations for AG LEGO Certified Stores in Australia and New Zealand with you soon!
